Bespoke Furniture Design
Furniture and — where relevant — sculpture sourcing are part of our standard service, as they are such a fundamental part of the scheme.
However, we can also design and build garden furniture and planters especially for you and your garden.
You may well have your own contractor, and we would be delighted to work with them. However, we often help clients with this part of the process.
Some clients like to use one of our associate contractors; companies we know and trust.
Or a full tender document can be prepared, to obtain accurate quotations from several contractors. We can also assist with the tendering process, and help you choose the most suitable candidate. Once chosen, you will enter directly into a contract with them, and they will build your garden to our design.
Whichever option you prefer, you can be sure that we will be on hand to ensure the project runs smoothly, and that the finish matches our high standards and attention to detail.
The sketches and plans we provide are often sufficient for planning applications, but if necessary, we can offer a full planning package. This includes liaising with planning officers, form filling, and producing more detailed plans if needed.
We can offer a range of services, from full project management, to a more advisory approach dependent on project size/complexity. Where there is an existing on-site team of architectural contractors we endeavour to work alongside them as seamlessly as possible.
A formal JCLI contract may be required, to protect both the client and contractor. This covers the agreed programme of works, regular inspections of completed work, payment releases, and any changes made throughout the project. We can arrange to have this drawn up on your behalf.
Once your garden is finished you will want it to continue to look good. If you need help with this, we can put you in touch with someone from our personally vetted database of recommended maintenance service providers.
